A woman from Woodstock, Ill., recently rediscovered a 1940 NFL championship watch that once belonged to the Chicago Bears’ Gary Famiglietti.
The watch was from the 1940 championship in which the Bears beat the Washington Redskins 73-0, the most-lopsided title victory in league history, the Chicago Sun-Times said.
Holly Swanson’s husband, who has passed away, received the watch as part of a payment for a plumbing job in the early 1990s.
