Tickets for tonight’s $370 million Mega Millions jackpot were so hot they were being sold on eBay for twice their face value.
A Lakewood seller posted three tickets for sale on one-day auctions that ended Sunday. One of the five-play tickets, which cost $5, sold for $11.61. Other five-play tickets sold for $7.80 and $6.90.
But the would-be winners could be in for a surprise.
Ohio Lottery officials said tickets sold on eBay or sent via mail across state lines are illegal and would be considered invalid under the lottery’s rules.
“If we found out that a ticket won that was either put up on eBay or purchased by someone on eBay, we could void the ticket,” Ohio Lottery Spokeswoman Marie Kilbane said.

This post is pretty funny. It just goes to show that anything can be sold on eBay as long as it has some type of value. The funny part is, none of those tickets won! Even if they did, the person would not get the money. Keep up the good work Dane.
