The Internet auction site, eBay, has reported that it now counts 210 million registered users worldwide, trading items worth a total of $12.6 billion.
The 26% increase in annual registered users boosted the firm’s quarterly profits by a record 10% to $281 million.
The firm has bullish expectations for its main trading business, Paypal online payment operation and Skype Internet telecoms business.
