Selling suspected stolen goods on the auction Web site eBay has tripped up a Loomis man.The Placer County Sheriff’s Department arrested Eric Richard Fields, 21, on charges of grand theft and possession of stolen property after a buyer unknowingly bought stolen boat equipment from him on the Internet.Detective Chris Glaspell said Field is responsible for a dozen thefts in Granite Bay and Loomis dating from 2004. Field is suspected of taking custom stereo speaker systems, racks and mirrors and a boat engine worth more than $15,000. One boat owner had more than $5,000 worth of equipment taken from watercraft.
