Mpire Teams with eBay for Bonds Site

We teamed up with eBay to create a site for the world to watch how much Barry Bonds 715 Home run ball will get on eBay (the one that edged him past Babe Ruth on the all time home run list). If you haven’t heard the story on Andrew, you should check out the site and watch the story of how he caught it.In addition to the awesome graphics work, we’re using our analytics engine to power the content. On that note, we also rolled out a new search relevancy algorithm. It’s really nice. Andrew in Mpire labs wrote about here (yes, it’s a different Andrew). You should check it out.

I think the auction looks really cool, Auctionwire looks to be running the main auction though. Barry Bonds No.715 Home run baseball. You have to also register with Auctionwire if you want to bid, this company seems like the Christies of eBay high prifile auctions.
