What sells on eBay? That is the “million dollar question�?! Ebay has allowed thousands of people to work from home and make a good income. The concept is simple: you sell what you don’t want, and somebody who does want it, buys it! Everybody wins, right? Well, not always.

First you need to make sure that what you are selling is something that people actually want. There are several ways to find out what is in high demand, including forums, the “Hot List�? in the seller section on eBay itself, and research. This sounds easy, but it really isn’t. The hot list is very general and many successful sellers are unwilling to give their selling secrets. There are some other problems too. There are selling fees that eat up a large portion of your profit, the shipping often costs more than estimated, it takes a significant amount of time to actually list each item, and buyers are constantly emailing with questions and complaints. Although eBay can work, it is not always successful and easy.
