PayPal today announced it received the Webby Award forBest Financial Services site. PayPal was also named the People’s Voicewinner in the same category. Hundreds of thousands of Internet userscast their ballots for the People’s Voice Awards to decide theirfavorite sites from nominees in 60 categories.
Hailed as the “online Oscars” by Time magazine, The InternationalAcademy of Digital Arts & Sciences selected PayPal as a nominee andwinner from sites based in all 50 U.S. states and more than 40 countries.
