eBay Australia Banking on Price Comarison

The online auction house, which almost doubled sales last year, will launch the new service in Australia on May 23.

Already available in the US, Britain, France and Germany, Shopping.com allows consumers to compare prices for items selling online.

The site also lets them buy the products of interest.

eBay has 50 million users worldwide, according to the company, and has sold stock for about 10,000 online retailers.
