On CNN’s Situation Room, furry spokesmodel Wolf “So Black� Blitzer handed off to cranky grandpa Jack Cafferty for his report on programs designed to pay drug addicts to stay clean.

Cafferty read viewers’ emails on the topic. One budding comic wrote, “I am addicted to chili dogs and they’re making me fat. You gotta stop me! I accept cash, checks and PayPal.�

Pretty funny… but they managed to top it:

Blitzer: What’s PayPal?
Caffrey: I have no idea.

Now see, that’s funnier, considering a search on Jack Cafferty comes up with transcripts of stories he’s already covered using mysterious words like “PayPal,� “Ebay,� and “spam.� Not to mention the dozens of political sites and blogs mentioning Wolf Blitzer and his war coverage…and taking donations via PayPal to offset their expenses.
